ACPE Standards 2016

The Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education draft Standards are designed to ensure that graduates of pharmacy education programs are practice-ready and team-ready – prepared to directly contribute to patient care and collaborate with other healthcare providers. They focus on the educational outcomes required of PharmD programs and the assessment of those outcomes. They also address structural and process-related elements within pharmacy education that are necessary to implement evidence-based outcome measures and document achievement of the standards.

CAPE Educational Outcomes 2013

The Center for Advancement of Pharmacy Education (CAPE) educational outcomes were created to guide curricular discussions of faculty and preceptors within the academy and curriculum planning, delivery, and assessment within colleges and schools of pharmacy (CAPE Panel Report-Educational Outcomes, 2013). The COPHS review process involves an annual review and mapping of CAPE domains to the College’s terminal outcomes, to confirm consistency in developing learning objectives and defining curricular priorities for pharmacy and other health professions.
