Anita Kalunta-Crumpton received a PhD from Brunel University London, United Kingdom. She taught for more than ten years at a number of universities in England before joining 德克萨斯南方大学 in 2008 as Associate 教授 of 司法行政. As she continues to extend the parameters of comparative criminological and sociological concerns beyond the West, Anita Kalunta-Crumpton is also devoting a significant portion of her scholarship and research efforts to studying violence against women and more specifically, violence against women of African origin.
